The Venue

The Mansion House at Shuttleworth College is located in the beautiful rural county of Bedfordshire. The Mansion House is a quintessentially English residence with a very interesting 130 year history. The house is Jacobean in style and it's oak panelled rooms and period decor make this the perfect venue for top class music tuition in a relaxed environment.

The accommodation at The Mansion House comprises shared and single occupancy rooms, some with en-suite facilities and internet access points. There are well equipped kitchen facilities and a common room for evening relaxation. The accommodation is situated on one site and offers a choice of small quiet lodges in a quiet area. A cafeteria style restaurant offers a range of food and teas and coffee will be available free throughout the day.There is security controlled access and 24 hour warden support. There are a a range of rehearsal facilities and a bar area to relax and unwind during the evenings. There is also a special area for evening performances and a pub a short walk away in the village of Old Warden. Disabled access is available for most parts of the college.
